Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Evercode (evercode.site) collects, why, and what you can do about it.

Account holders

• Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password.
• Your codes: the destinations, names and colors you set, and their change history.
• Billing: your plan and subscription status. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay; we never see or store them.

People who scan a code

When someone scans a code or opens a short link, we record the time, whether it was a QR scan or a link click, the referring website’s domain, the device type and browser family, and the country derived from the request. We do not store IP addresses or set cookies on visitors, and we do not build profiles of them. These counts are shown to the code’s owner as analytics.

Website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand how the website is used and how fast it loads. They do not use cookies.

How we use data

To run the service, show you analytics, process payments, send account emails (such as password resets), prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

• Resend (account emails)
• Google Web Risk (checking destinations for malware and phishing)

Retention and your rights

We keep your data while your account is open. You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data at any time; deleting your account removes your codes and their analytics. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
